Maxxis HighRoad [Gen.3] (Pair)

Maxxis HighRoad [Gen.3] (Pair)

HighRoad [Gen.3]

Since its initial release, the HighRoad has pursued one goal: to be the ultimate road bike tire. With the third generation, these goals have been surpassed once again.
The HighRoad Gen.3 is now even lighter, faster, and offers even greater puncture protection! This is achieved through the lightweight Turn-Up casing combined with the HYPR rubber compound and K2 puncture protection.

Technologies:

HYPR Compound

HYPR is a full silica compound and Maxxis' highest-performing compound for road bike tires. Compared to Maxxis' previous best road racing compound, HYPR has approximately 20% less rolling resistance and 20% more grip in wet conditions. An impressive achievement is that these improvements were made without compromising its very long lifespan.

Tubeless Ready (TR)

Tubeless tires on bicycles offer many advantages. You can ride with lower air pressure, resulting in better traction; rolling resistance is lower than with inner tubes; and using sealant instead of a tube significantly reduces the risk of punctures, as small holes are simply sealed. In mountain bike competitions, tubeless tires are now almost exclusively used, and their use is also steadily increasing in road cycling.

K2

Maxxis exclusive K2 fabric offers more puncture protection than standard Kevlar and Vectran. It is lightweight and supple, ensuring top performance and superior handling.
